GEOSYNTHETICS
Geosynthetics are nodular draining sheets manufactured from several types of petroleum-derived polymers. They are used to improve and facilitate the execution of construction and civil works projects such as: force redistribution, soil strengthening, filtering, drainage, protection, permeability control, landscaped roofs, etc. Geosynthetics are mainly made from polyethylene or polypropylene and they are used for draining, separation, protection, waterproofing, thermal insulation and soil stabilisation. The geosynthetic material can be applied in horizontal and vertical drainage such as terraces and buried structures.
